​Texas-based poet Allen Richey is the writer of the collection of poetry titled The Naked Truth: The Road to Heaven Starts at the Cross. In this book, Richey writes much on life and love, but also mixes his poetry with politics, ideas of spirituality, and some Native American wisdom. Each poem was born from a personal experience, but, in a broader sense, the compilation explores the real-life circumstances that we all live through daily. In essence, Richey’s poems touch the soul and helps one “look past the veil."
